Dr. Terence E. McIff is the Director of Orthopedic Biomechanical and Bioengineering Laboratories at Kansas University Medical Center and an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

Michelle Settle has 20+ years of administrative management experience developing effective systems for the KUMC Orthopedic Research and Education Center and attending to all scheduling and business processes for the OREC’s Surgical Skills Lab.

Amanda Varner, BS
Research Assistant
Amanda received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Her background is in research including neurological tracing at New York University and Surface Chemistry in the Trace department at the KCPD Crime Lab.

Michael Dold
Research Assistant
Michael has a background in both clinical orthopedics and research following his degree in Organismal Biology, B.S. from the University of Kansas. He assists with the Bioskills cadaveric workshops and Residency Training.
