Lab Manager
Dr. Terence E. McIff is the Director of Orthopedic Biomechanical and Bioengineering Laboratories at Kansas University Medical Center and an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
Michael joined the OREC Surgical Training Laboratory in 2023. He received his bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology from the University of Kansas. Michael can assist with all scheduling, cadaveric and logistical needs & inquiries.
Amanda Varner, BS
Research Assistant
Amanda received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Her background is in research including neurological tracing at New York University and Surface Chemistry in the Trace department at the KCPD Crime Lab.

Michelle Settle has 20+ years of administrative management experience developing effective systems for the KUMC Orthopedic Research and Education Center and attending to all business processes for the OREC’s Surgical Skills Lab.
